Lostprophets to present Zane Lowe's Radio1 show.
 

Not sure if this is common knowledge, or whether it really deserves its own thread, but I wanted to let you guys know...

As you may already be aware, every January Zane Lowe has a bit of a break from his Radio 1 duties, and a succession of music and TV stars 'take over' his show in his place.

Well, on Wednesday, January 13, LOSTPROPHETS will take over the Zane Lowe show on Radio 1 between 7pm and 9pm. Zane is promising 'records and fun' from the boys.

Other 'acts' taking over the airwaves that week include Dizzee Rascal (Mon), Florence and the Machine (Tues) and cast members from The Inbetweeners (Thurs).

I personally think this will be MINT!

If so, they'll cut out the really funny bits!

I'm pretty sure, not 100%, but pretty sure that in previous years it isn't pre-recorded because I seem to remember in previous Januaries gone by texts being read out and shit like that. It'll be tasty anyway. Looking forward to it.

Well he seems to have inside info on Radio 1 news. Where do you get the news from squire? I can't find this info anywhere. The Zane Lowe page on Radio 1 still has last January's guests.

He should be a mod just for having a good username.

When I first read this I thought the cast of Inbetweeners and LPS were presenting together, that'd be great.

If it's just Ian there'll be no music but if the rest are with him then I think Ian will be quieter. As it's common knowledge that Ian does not shut up when he's on his own. He got mentioned a lot on the Radio 1 review of 2009 show last night after his performance on the show back in Autumn.

Ahaa, Nihal just hasn't forgotten about what Ian was like :') But that's true. I don't think it'll just be Ian rambling on and on and on :(

by the way they're doing it with Huw "Getting to know HUW, Getting to know all about HUW" Stephens. Zane Lowe will be nowhere to be heard. Shame for some, a godsend for most.
