it's true...I think it was pretty optimistic to think it was coming out this month anyway, they need time to promote it and everything, we've been waiting...I don't know how long, so another few months won't matter, it'll soon be here anyway, I still can't believe it's August already. and anyway we'll get a song soon anyway to keep us occupied.

Oh my gosh... Ok I hate to bitch about the most awesome fucking band in the whole of the world, I love them like nothing else but seriously.. If the album is recorded, mixed, mastered and whatever.. a video a has been shot then what takes at least another 5 months?

The Record label. They need to promote and distribute the album. You also have to remember Visible Noise is an indie label and won't have the most income, they need to pick the right date to release the album to get the largest amount of profit possible.

The way you have to look at tho, is that the video is shot, the single is due out in October and vids are usually played WEEKS before the single is released so.............

Can't believe I'm going to have to agree with Jason!!!

I honestly don't know what the poor bloody boys have to do to please some people.
After months of waiting, things are finally starting to look like their happening and still there are people going 'what we have to wait longer'
You do realise they're probably not going to thank you all individually in the album notes as well don't you?
Personally I'm really happy that the album is likely going to be next year as I might have a chance of affording some tour dates then, and it won't clash with Muse's too much.

I'm not bothered about the waiting because I know it will be well worth it I just wish they would stop giving us different dates and yes I know all the stuff that's happened with them and why it's been delayed but yeh.

I think once we all learn to accept that Ian lives in a completely different time frame from the rest of us, it makes it easier to deal with the dates he gives out.

The mastering did take longer than expected though, Stu said the other day on twitter that he had to go into hospital for something and that his missus gave birth when he was meant to be mastering the record so there's another delay. They've not had much luck with this record. Hopefully they'll have more luck with the next one.

Also, Note to self and HINT for the future, don't listen to Ian. ha.

The thing that nobody seems to realise as well is that just 'coz the album is finished, doesn't mean it's finished There's all the stuff that the band don't have any input in like pressing and printing of the actual disc. Then there's promotion and marketing that goes into it before the release dates.
And usually the single comes out the week before the album so really we should all look forward to the fact that the single will be out in a matter of weeks and not sulk about having to wait an extra couple of months for the album. Will it really make that much difference?
Cut the poor bloody lads some slack, there's more to their lives than just bringing out this album, and it's not a personal insult to anyone if you have to wait a bit longer.
I sometimes think that some people forget this album isn't a god given right, it's summat that they've put their heart and soul into, to get right, and we owe them, they don't owe us.

And the world doesn't revolve around a new lostprophets album find something else to do while waiting for it.
2 Singles before the album, 2 videos, Reading/Leeds coming up, possible Winter Tour so it's not as if we're going to be not getting anything unlike the last 2-3 years

It's not actually fair to say that they've done nowt for the last two years either. I mean last year alone there was Download and V.
And Ian went mental and thought he could DJ.
I mean, Ian also toured lots of the country with his side project LALM.

I was hoping for earlier, but at least we have a reliable time frame set for the single, and if they're going to out promoting that means there'll be lots of interviews to look forward to.
